Default Fire near Canberra Airport

Right now outside our office window there are two fire bombing choppers and a couple of fire engines fighting a fire a little to the west of Canberra Airport.

Lost of thick black smoke blowing across the southern approach, the rumour mill suggests the grass growing company over there might be on fire, lots of fertilizer etc.

Apparently a scrap metal yard in Fyshwick is ablaze. All contained so no concern for the airport. Now the wind has died down and temperatures dropped, I presume things will be a bit easier to manage
