If you are a pilot you will find it is the worse flying movie ever. Don't waste your money on it

Personally, I'm going to watch the film for a good storyline, more so than for the short scenes featuring aircraft

I think Rob means it's NOT that good. I was very unimpressed. As I said in another thread somewhere, it mimicks a famous accident in 2000 but then loses the plot quickly.

I was expecting a bit more on the actual investigation.

But yes, while there is aviation in it, the primary storyline revolves around Denzel Washington's character and addiction.

I haven't even seen it, but in the trailer, when it portrays the Captain as being god's gift to everyone..... well, you get the point. Maybe 20-30 years ago, but these days, definitely not.

Mr Flood, are you suggesting there are no pilots who aren't arrogant pretentious prats? I don't think you'd have to look too far to find some who think they are 'it and a bit'. Arrogant pilots who think that they are God's gift to everyone still exist.

"Look at me, look at me...I'm a pilot" Yeah..whatever..just fly the damn plane already.
