OT: Weather
Looking on http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDS60...01.94809.shtml
Edithburgh in South Australia, the temp is 42.2 with an AT of 59.0, dew point 42 and humidity of 99%. Is the AT a measure of windchill (heat) if so it must be quite unpleasent outdoors there. Anthony T |

That sounds nasty!! I've never seen a DP so high before!! At uni I've been studying how to design houses that stay cool in high temps/humidity, but this would be just impossible...

Well aware of that Brenden. But that would essentially mean it's raining.
Just doesn't seem right. Have a feeling something is wrong there. Mick |

Gotta agree Mick F, I looked at the Obs for the Adelaide region and every other station was reporting "normal" values.
It genuinely appears there was an issue with the Edithburgh AWS. Meltdown perhaps?!

weather
It was bloody hot in Adelaide yesterday. I think the weather station was faulty.
On mine I recorded a maximum of 40.8 C |
