It's an old story here really. When we get the big 747's, the thought pops into local council minds, "wouldn't it be nice". I can't see it happening anytime soon! But I must say, it's always nice to get 747's and 777's on diversion.

There is, of course, the QF and SQ military charters using 747, 767(?) and 777 in the past.

And was there not a Kiwi carrier that operated charters into ROK in the 90's?

OT... I used to fly for QFLink on the 717s and I fondly(!) remember our 5-day ROK trips.
