Absolutely.
Even Qantas wouldn't create a new livery and ramp up an operation for one 767. Starting the 767 operation replaced an existing contractor - it isn't too much of a stretch to think they would consider replacing their other contractors if the conditions were suitable. |

I would be very excited by it, even if it is only freighters.
Having one model in the fleet would definently help the case for passenger ones in the long term future. |

Many of the worlds airlines survive on just their cargo revenues! |

It looks sooooooo bad. I'm pretty sure we all know a cargo aircraft when we see one. See exhibit 1 below. Definitely a cargo plane. Why? Maybe because it has FREIGHT written after the Qantas bit. Exhibit 2. Not a cargo plane. Would a kangaroo really make a difference to distinguish between divisions of an airline??? Personally, i would keep the roo. |

As has been discussed before, it may be flying for Qantas (just like Atlas do), but it's not a Qantas plane (they're just the registered operator), therefore no Roo.

This whole thing confuses me.
Why stick a huge Qantas logo on a plane without a roo when it isn't owned by qantas in the first place?? |

So that'd make it one these little "shelf companies" that Qantas now has dotted over the globe everywhere but Australia?
So tell me, is a JetConnect flight a Qantas flight? Is it a Qantas aircraft or is it a JetConnect aircraft? Is it a Qantas pilot or a JetConnect pilot? Mick |
