New Skyteam lounge in Sydney

New Skyteam Sydney lounge

Anyone has any clue where this lounge is gonna be? I thought SYD has run out of space airside.

AFAIK the old Qantas Club (and then plaza premium lounge) is still empty opposite Gate 24, possibly there?

My bet is on the Malaysian lounge, with MH using Qantas. The space you talk of makes little sense as a Skyteam lounge as the Skyteam members (Korean and Delta) use gates on the other pier, so a long walk from lounge to gate. (and before you mention it yes I know MH also uses this pier)

Seems like the completion date has been pushed back to January next year.
