VH-STE - parked up at Lizard Island

Hi,

Does anyone know anything about VH-STE which is a Bell 206B, Serial 1817 owned and operated by Stearns Air Queensland who is based in Port Douglas? I have just got back from Lizard Island and the heli appears to have been parked up next to the runway for a little while. I asked the resort staff but they didn't know anything about it.

Just seems like an odd place to leave a heli and I wasn't sure if it is in someway associated with the research station or national parks.
