Default Hainan A330-300 today

A friend who is travelling on Hainan today (together with Phil L) rang to say Hainan are operating A330-343 B-6529 today, a first. Happy chappy as 9V-SKL is in today (as per Benny's post).

Phil & Chris returned on Sunday aboard the same a/c (B-6529).

Today, another A330-300 B-6520, is operating the flight.

Nice surprise on departure as it tracked directly overhead home instead of direct Richmond. Wasn't expecting this so no camera ready!

Thanks Lloyd, I think they only have 3 (acc to my records) so just B-6527 to go unless they have/receive more.

Looks like Hainan are canning Sydney as well as Istanbul, Toronto(suspended) and Brussels during winter season.

Really not surprising. Not alot of media coverage here, so really focusing on Chinese feed and local cchinese community here to provide feed for flights..

That's a shame, I love their livery, oh well hopefully they'll be back in the future.
