We are all into tracking planes but you can track Sydney-Hobart fleet as yell.

And unfortunately it looks like a Cessna 172 (VH-PFT) may have crashed on Monday evening during aerial photography of the event. The pilot and passenger are at this time unaccounted for.

Doesn't sound good at all, with the recovery of items from the ac and reports that no one made it out. Par Avion/Airlines of Tasmania have only had VH-PFT since March. Has visited Wagga on three occasions (March, September and recently in November).
