QF 15/16 Qantas BNE/LAX/BNE
Hi all,
Just thought I would start a thread on the future of QF 15/16 BNE/LAX/BNE once the QF 747's have run out of steam. Every time I take this flight it seems like it's packed to the rafters. Will Qantas eventually upgrade Brisbane to an A380, or are we destined for a 787 or some sort of potential downgrade? Any ideas or thoughts from anyone?

I would definitely think an A380 for LAX, and the DFW flights I expect will end up going direct DFW-SYD with 787-9 or the higher gross weight versions of the A380.
Unless QF can put capacity in a better place (JNB, BKK and NRT from SYD seem more like 789 routes) I don't see anything stopping them from putting the A380 on QF15/16 once the 747s go, given that loads are still going strong. |
