Crash at Bankstown today Oct 20
I arrived at Bankstown for some flying today and heard the news about a crash earlier in the day. Luckily no fatalities but it did block the runway for a while.

Sorry, don't mean to be a ***** but it was actually a crash landing, not a crash. There is a big difference.

My apologies Joseph, should have said 'the airplane fell from the sky and hit the asphalt'. Crash was the word on everyone's mouth at the airport so yeah, there you go.

Any confirmation on that? It's from Proflite Flying School if that's the case.
Be interesting to know what happened as the report is pretty vague at the time of writing. Dan

Joseph - I don't think crash, nor crash landing are official terms!
I'd hardly say the O.P has done anything wrong! |
