Default Two aircraft collide at Bankstown on the ground

Just heard a "breaking news" article on channel 7 news that two aircraft have "collided" on the ground. Anyone with any more info about it and if it was as bad as they make it seem?

Cheers
Gerard

I haven't, but a mate of mine did.
The Metro he was taxying ran into an MU-2 at Bankstown. The prop of the MU-2 cut about two metres of the left wing of the Metro off .... fuel was spilled and aeroplane bits everywhere.
A new wing was found for the Metro and a new end stiched back on.
The rest of the story is here.

It's surprisingly easy to do.

Default Bankstown Airport Collision

Ladies & Gents,

I am slightly confused.
People are speaking of this collision that happened last week at Bankstown airport in this thread, however Channel 7/10 had image of the collision and it showed VH-JWW A Duchess and I could be mistaken but looked to be a Cherokee in the livery of VH-FZW/VH-SWU/VH-VFC... Sorry I was unable to see the callsign on the news image...

Am I on the wrong thread or confused???
