Any News of the 2010/11 Fire Fleet?
Hi all
Has anyone got a list of firebomber callsigns for this coming season yet? I've checked Bob Bell's website and there is nothing there (that i can find anyway) thanks Dave |

I think Paul Daw did one for last year. Its becoming very hard to get all the info and keep it up to date nowdays.

The only thing I have seen this year is RFS Media reported "We have access to 120 aircraft for the coming season".
The only one I have had involvement this season (so far) was RFS long-term favourite VH-FHF at some winch training at Glenbrook last weekend. |

BlueSky's VH-ZMF will be active again this season. Most likely as Firebird 206.

I visited Bankstown yesterday and couldn't see any 'big' helo's around. They may not have arrived yet. The helo's I did see were all Robinson's with no FF ID's.

It appears that the NSW fire season is going to be a quiet one, however over in the West here we are currently running 6 weeks early with our season with a few big fires already. Maybe some of the Helo's can come my way

A bit late in the season now, but was wondering if anyone has come across any publicly available info on aircraft available to the RFS in NSW?
I'm hoping that there is something out there along the lines of what DSE have made available for Victoria - http://dsewebapps.dse.vic.gov.au/fir...rcraftlist.htm Thanks! |

Under Water
I'm not sure but the delayed start could be due to the recent floods and a large amount of NSW being under water.
Hay had a flood warning today. With the amount of rain across NSW the ground is still damp. |
