Default Spotters with an attitude?

Afternoon All,
Was reading my usual fix of Pprune (apologies to the mods for including another forum), and came across this thread:

http://www.pprune.org/d-g-general-av...creatures.html

Not any of the YSSY Crew I should hope?

Cheers

Mick

Don't like seeing stories like that because the people there that I know are all very nice and friendly.

Default Spotting

I don't give the slightest toss about what someone thinks of me for going down to the Sydney Airport to watch the Aircraft and more recently take some photos as well. I was quite surprised to read the posted link to pprune.org it makes out like anyone who would go down to Airport is a loon.

It would be good to chat with fellow spotters, I see folks all the time down the Airport I figure they are busy taking shots so don't say anything but would never consider being rude to anyone if asked a question or even if I could share a photo or something. Its a hobby what's the big deal.

Cheers,

Norm

Need not necessarily go to an airport to be dished out with some random rudeness and generally unpleasant demeanour. It happens right here on this board every day - people with their know it all and i'm better than you so shut up attitudes.

It'd be much better if people appreciated the common interest and cut the crap.

Stuart,

Well, this is afterall a thread about a thread on pprune regarding the attitude of spotters towards pilots - not spotters towards spotters

Mate, you may want to check out some other overseas sites. I find everyone on this site to be curteous and very helpful.
