Brisbane will have 5x Weekly to Denpansar

DJ 197 Brisbane - Denpansar 0805/1220 $189.71 6h15m
DJ 196 Denpansar - Brisbane 1500/2230 $189.71 5h30m

I just wondering does the range of the fleet on Pacific Blue (73G) is large enough to travel on a journey of 6 hours 15 minutes!

Anyway, I hope Pacific Blue can fly to Hong Kong, Langkawi and Singapore soon, or even codeshare AirAsia to Langkawi and codeshare Hong Kong Expresss from Denpansar to Hong Kong.

Perth - Bali is going crazy at the moment (and flights are generally 90+ % full).

By December 1st...
Garuda: 21x 73H's per week
Ozjet: 6x 732's (currently 3-4)
Jetstar: 3x A320's (4th planned)
Pacific Blue: 4x 73H's

Great news for VB. Good growth despite the downturn.

Bali and LA all in one month!

Default Pacific Blue to Bali innaugral today

Pacific Blue commenced BNE-DPS today a new route. It may have been a route proving flight as originally flights weren't starting till 1 dec?

VH-VUN in Pacific Blue colours operated DJ 197 to Bali.

This answers questions to whether ZK or VH registered aircraft would operate the services.

Over the next few days and weeks these new routes

PER-DPS
ADL-DPS
BNE-HIR
BNE-APW
will all commence.

Cheers Lloyd

Hi Lloyd,

This was the first day of scheduled operations, it was brought forward about 2 months ago.

Bali flights will be operated by Virgin Blue under a wetlease arrangement to Pacific Blue, thus you will see VH tails. (VOX, VOQ, VUM, VUN to be specific)

Virgin Blue now holds an area aoc which includes provisions for international operations.

ADL will see VUN tonight ex DPS and it departs tomorrow morning for DPS then PER.

Hope that helps.

Coming back from PER I noticed that BNE/ADL/PER-DPS and BNE-POM were listed in the live2air menu. seeing as the DPS flights (and POM?) are operating with AU registered Virgin Blue metal will these be offered Live2air. Is their even a signal after the aircraft has left Australian airspace?
