Is there anything as sad as an airframe sitting on a stack of pallets being parted out?
Brilliant photos as usual Sam. Thanks for sharing.

Great photos as always Sam! It is sad seeing so many of the 744's there, such as the SQ 9V-SPM.

I'm with Adam - when it is the next installment of Air coming out?

I reckon that that an old aircraft being parted out is a great thing. It means that the aircraft completed it's life safely and can go on to help make new aircraft and keep others flying. In my opinion there are 3 great outcomes for an old aircraft:

1. Kept flying
2. Being properly maintained in a museum
3. Parted out.

Interesting to note that majority of the 744's there have PW engines on them.

It is an engineers dream to part out an aircraft.we looked after them and should have a chance to put them to bed.
