He'd have a better time of it now. The runway is another 500 mtrs longer, and has a ski-jump at the end to assist with those extra heavy takeoffs!

I miss their regular appearance at Richmond. The C17 just doesn't have that glass-shatter-vibration that the Il76 has. (yeah, I like aircraft noise too!)
