As far as PASSENGER 747-200's go, I am pretty sure the last one to operate into Sydney was JALWays JA8150.
Happy to be corrected though |

I believe the last B747-100 to visit Sydney was UPS as you stated Nigel, in 2005/06. Can't remember when Evergreen last visited Sydney.

It could be the Northwest B747-200 N623US which was in Sydney in July 2008 for World Youth Day. I have a photo of it sitting by the pond...

Good thing I said I was happy to be corrected because you are 100% correct Stefan.
Maybe I'll adjust my post to say last scheduled service? |

Today's flight, N792CK, operated by a 747-200 sporting a rather clandestine white livery.
Of course, photography was complicated by something else parked in front of it. Not something I want to loiter around, really! |

Any word on the next flight? Wouldn't mind seeing a Kalitta 400. Cheers Jim

There is speculation/ word Jim that yesterday's aircraft and today's aircraft, both the 200's, will be alternating the remanding flights between themselves.
I think and not sure but yesterday's flight would have sufficient time to get back here by 9am if that's it's arrival time. But that could be just hearsay so don't take that as gosspel... Photos of today's arrival on the link below..

Wouldn't mind seeing N748CK here, she is an ex Panam cargo aircraft, I saw her in PHNL but didn't get any good shots.
I have noticed that none of these 747-2's have the wingtip antenna's. |
