QF128 25/7 Delayed By A Day
Anyone know the reason for this flight to depart HKG a day late? I thought the plane that operate this flight is the one that operated QF127 SYD-HKG. QF127 is currently only 30 minutes behind schedule.

It might have something to do with OJK now having a hole on the starboard side...

apparently that a/c is being used to ferry back passengers from MNL.
There is a post in the big thread about the incident by someone who is scheduled on the flight. |

So if the plane that arrived in HKG yesterday went to pick up the passengers, which plane will operate QF128? Will an empty plane fly to HKG from Australia and operate this flight?

A fair guess would say that QF128 on the 25th was cancelled and passengers have been shuffled onto other flights, so no they won't be sending another aircraft.

According to the Qantas website, 2 QF128 is departing HKG tonight. Last night's QF128 is departing at 8:10pm, while tonight's QF128 is departing on the scheduled time of 9:10pm. So I just wonder where they get the extra plane from, when last night's plane went to Manila.
