Worldwide Ransomware Attack
Only the last couple of days there has been a worldwide Ransomware attack.
This attack effectively shutdown the British National Health System (NHS) including hospitals and GP's. Ensure that your firewall, virus scanner are up to date as well as any MALWARE scanners. Scan you system on a regular basis for VIRUS and MALWARE penetrations. Ensure your system has up to date software and security patches. PROTECT your CRITICAL DATA by performing regular backups to portable devices that can be securely stored away from your system. A backup device permanently connected to your system may also be infected or made unusable. |
