Spotting at Port Macquarie?

I'll be heading up to Port Macquarie for the long weekend, and while I know air traffic is nowhere near as heavy as at Sydney Airport, I'm hoping someone can tell me if there are any good spotting locations at the airport.

I am a Port Macquarie local and can say that while traffic quantity lacks, there are some very nice spots available.

Unfortunately, I ended up spending most of the long weekend in the hotel room with a cold, so didn't get to go to the airport, nor to do any other exploring.

Oh well, there's always next time.
