GAM
Just finished up working in Emerald and noticed a number of commander aircraft and the Dornier 228 operating in central Queensland. I noticed some of the aircraft arrive early morning and sit all day prior to leaving around 18:00. I am assuming most were freight operations.

Bank runs like that have been around for decades. They used to move signed cheques etc out of country towns after the bans closed. These days they take more pathology samples, x-rays and small parcels. Bank data tends to travel electronically.
The Shrike is a workhorse of that sector. |
