Does anyone know when Qantas will re-start their A330-200 fleet as they seem to be using only A330-300's for passenger & freight services at the moment?

All QF A332s are in storage in either SYD (13) or BNE (5). Looking at QF bookings, any A330 flights SYD - MEL - SYD or to and from PER are by A333 up until the end of January next year. QF is also flying 789s on some services to PER so it looks as though they will be brought back into service to support the A333s in preference to their A332s.
I guess it will depend on how future domestic demand increases to warrant bringing any A332s back into service short term. When international passenger flights eventually resume with any volume they will be needed. |

A check of the operations of the 18 QANTAS A332s shows that all except three have been inactive during the last four weeks. The active aircraft are:
EBJ - has only flown SYD-MEL-PER-MEL-BNE on 4 & 5 January, 2021; EBK - has only flown a test flight in SYD and then SYD-PER on 14 January, 2021; and EBL - has operated nine return flights MEL-PER and one return flight MEL-BNE since 3 January, 2021. |
