Qantas 31, A380 28/2/09 goes tech
Morning all,
Last nights QF31 to Singapore and London went U/S and is reschedule for 1030am this morning as QFA31D. According to unverified reports it is a flight computer problem and I do not have verification for this but heres what ive seen from another forum. "Fuel burn rates are 5% to 10% off" That is all the info I'm aware of regarding delay for the moment. Not sure of rego of the A380 |

Well this is a bit strange up here at Heathrow as QF31 was due at 0625 this morning and is now not due until 0125 tomorrow morning( Mon). However the Qantas and BAA websites both show the return QF32 for today having left on time at 1115. Surley this would have also of had a delay unless they have used a 747 from this mornings QF9 or QF1 arrivals. If so i wonder what OQA will operate back. Maybe the QF10 5 hours or so late?? Also i travelled up on last Tues QF31 and was suprised to see a London based cabin crew take over in Singapore. I thought the QF31/32 was the only one of the Londons that Sydney crews still went right through on.

As i suspected VH-OJP operated todays QF32 after arriving on QF9. As they were a 744 short for this evenings departures QF10 was delayed. It looks like OQA will arrive at 01.18(Mon local) and lay over to operate the Monday QF32 and the 744 that should have operated that will operate last nights delayed QF10 now due to depart here at 0800 some 10 hours late..
