The best outcome would be for Mr Bryt to pay off old debts first, before starting the new airline and re-hiring the people who just got sacked in the new operation that would be good. By the sound of it some new routes could be viable. A jet service on TSV and CNS to MT ISA would be welcomed by the community of Mt Isa over the current Turboprops.

Any community would welcome a jet service, but it just wouldn't be viable.
Xstrata have downgraded their operations here in Mount Isa, and as such, aren't bringing anywhere near the number of people out from Townsville. The twice a day Dash 8-400 service provided by QantasLink, and also a milk run from Mount Isa to Townsville on West Wing Aviation, so far appears to be more than adequate. IF Mr Byrt get's this up and running, I would be placing a very short timeframe on the lifespan of the company. Mick |

I don't think Mr Byrt, Burt, Birt or whatever his name is will be starting any new airline soon going by this article in today's Townsville Bulletin....
