Overnighting in Melbourne Airport
Hi all,
I'm planning on going to Melbourne soon for some spotting, and was wondering if you can stay overnight in either the International or Domestic terminals? I don't care if its not particularly comfortable, just whether or not we'll get kicked out for photographing or sleeping there that late. Thanks

Not sure about MEL, but in Adelaide the terminal is locked around 2300 and re-opens about 0430.
I have seen people "sleeping " outside around 0200.

In YMML the fingers are locked off and they kick you out of the domestic terminals.
As for international its open 24/7 so good luck!

The 01:15 Virgin Blue flight MEL-DRW starts next week, so you should have access to the Virgin Blue pier until then, OK to spot the later international departures :
