Jetstar to pass Emirates in Aussie international airline stakes

An article by The Australian’s Aviation Writer Steve Creedy, Aviation writer says that Jetstar expects to overtake Dubai-based Emirates as Australia's fourth-biggest international airline by market share as it continues to expand overseas.

Federal government international airline statistics for February released yesterday showed Jetstar just 0.1 percentage points behind Emirates with 7.2 per cent of the international passenger market.

Jetstar's international operations have been surging ahead even as Qantas figures have been falling.
