BA B772ERS News
Saturday 1st August
British Airways latest B772 G-YMMU landed at Cardiff at 09:54 from Everett as BAW9151. Expect it to be here, outside, for a couple of months. G-YMMS departed yesterday to Heathrow and G-YMMT is still there. |

... and they are still planning to introduce their two 32 seat A318 full business class service from London City to New York in the coming months.
Westbound it will have a fuel stop in Shannon, Ireland during which time pax will clear US immigration and customs so they can bypass passport control on arrival at JFK. I did hear that the BA A318s will be modified to get an extra flap setting for the 5.5 degree glideslope and 1500m runway at EGLC. Elsewhere I have heard the speed on the 5.5 degree GS will be managed by a change to the control laws with automatic spoiler deployment when the gear comes down until the flare.
