Last time the Transmile 727 was in here it had a 9M Malaysian rego, perhaps you are thinking of the Heavylift 727 which is registered in the Philippines.

It was parked next to a Virgin Blue 737 near the Eastern GA overnight. There was also a new livery JQ A320 VH-VQF with some food trucks around it in the afternoon and looked like it was there overnight too. Wearing the A330 JQ livery in silver not like the A321.

9M-TGG B727-247 Transmile has been around this region lately, it could be this one?

Most likely. That's the normal one we see in Sydney when the DHL 'Jedi' is away.

According to a New Zealand website on the 29.04 9M-TGG flew AKL-BNE-AKL as a charter foe Asian Pacific Airlines,so it might not have been working for DHL when it came into Sydney.

There is a lot of the equipment used in servicing the DHL B727 which bears the titles Asia Express Airlines, and the aircraft (including the Transmile B727) use the callsign 'Express 1' and 'Express 2' for inbound and outbound legs.
Methinks it's the same operation. |
