Had an oppurtunity to get a nice one from the tarmac at night of VH-EBY, but i didnt get that chance to stop for long enough to hold the camera still in the night.

How do you get a full size photo to display in a post? I only seem to have the option to attach thumbnails when I try to upload a photo

Philip,
You can upload your images to a third party hosting service, ie Photobucket.com, or flickr etc. Then use the icon when composing your thread to link to your image.

The first plane I ever flew on was a SAAB many years ago and I'll never forget that experience, lotsa noise and vibration. You've gotta love these little SAAB's. With turboprop planes in Australia, SAAB is the boss with 47 currently on the register. VH-JRX is one of the five ex KLM Cityhopper units.

Hey Scott, I use a 400D and everytime i turn it off it says sensor cleaning. Is there any way i can do a better job than this? By the way, can you tell i need to clean it because of the 'graininess' above in the cloud of this?

No, he is talking about the visible dust spots. While the sensor cleaning function on the new canon's might be helpful, you'll still need to clean the sensor manually. I usually just use a blower and it gets most or all of them. There are other methods where you actually wipe the sensor, but I wouldn't try it myself because the sensor is very fragile and VERY expensive to replace if you damage it. Otherwise, you can take it to canon and they'll charge you $50 to do it!
