Default Three Virgin Blue -700s to Southwest

Saw this on Airliners.net, but three Virgin Blue 737-700's, VH-VBQ, VBR and VBS, all former Midway birds are now headed to Southwest with VBQ already being painted in Seattle with reg N552WN.

This would drop the fleet to 18 -700's IIRC, 16 leased and two owned.

What happens to the live-to-air system? I would presume the dome and other equipment is not permanent and can be removed once an aircraft leaves the VB fleet?

Yes, they are getting removed in Seattle.

That said - the 700 was always much nicer to work on (about as good as a 190, but not quite as easy going as a 170).
Do any of the -800s have non-standard interiors/crew seats etc?
