Odd! The connecting flights, yes, they should go. They are probably still updating their site anyway.

I'm looking at booking a HBA-OOL flight next June and the flight duration (new feature to the booking page) says 3hr 20min. The flight leaves at 13.15 and arrives at 15.35 - that's actually 2hr 20!

I've noticed that the flight durations on the Jetstar site are a bit screwed up at the moment if the timezone changes. Apparently a flight from Auckland to Sydney takes 1.5 hours... but Sydney to Auckland takes 5 hours. Must be really strong headwinds.

JQ30 - MEL-SYD 0:25 hours.

Will we see a JQ HBA to NZ service as it has been mooted by Bucanan in the past. Also the only significant destination not served from OOL is Wellington which is a route that has no competition. I wonder if JQ have thought of it!

NZ ditched the OOL-WLG route in the past...there weren't enough pax numbers to sustain the route. Don't know if JQ will give it a go...I hope they will!
