silly question - what is the upper deck used for on freighters? many seats up there? or minimal for crew rest?

I have no idea...never seen!

Cheers

p.s. that last pic Jayden is awesome!

Hey Chris,

I have been on an Atlas 747-200F and the upper deck is accesed by a steep staircase like a ladder with about 8 large seats up there.

A lot of them are different, depending on whether they are converted or purpose built and of course by whom.

All I've been on (quite a number of 200's and 400's) have a steep staircase as Tim said, between 6 and 8 seats and everything from an esky or two strapped to the floor to a small galley.

On a few I've also seen a small crew rest bunk accessed through a door aft of the main upper deck area.
