It could easily achieve the 30 million mark in 12 months time if it can maintain the present growth. Be nice if they can divert some of their huge capital works program to increasing the arrival hall and baggage claim areas as it getting very congested at peak times.

They are great results however the June pax figures actually showed a decline as growth in INT pax was not enough to balance decline in Domestic pax.
Also with Tiger having 44 flights a day into and out of MEL, say they were carrying only 100 pax a flight, so 4,400 pax a day x 31 days in July so roughly 136,000 pax domestically will be down in July.It will be interesting to see those figures when they are revealed ??.I understand that other airlines will have carried most of these Tiger pax but i feel some would have just cancelled altogether. There are some warning signs currently for MEL. But hey i believe MEL has done very well past 3-5 yrs .They i believe have been the best performer along with Perth . Cheers |
