Default QF1/2 Singapore?

I just made a booking Sydney to Singapore and return and noticed I am booked on QF1/QF2.

When did that route change from Bangkok to Singapore?

QF31 becomes QF1 on Sunday 25th March with the northern summer 2012 schedule change after BKK & HKG lose the London connections.

SYD-BKK becomes QF23/24.

QF23/24 has had a long rest then, I think those flight numbers last saw use when QF did the SYD-PER-HRE-JNB-PER-SYD (and reverse) back around 1997?

In view of the announcements over the past few days,it seems that QF23/24 is destined to be operated by A330 equipment after all.

Cheers,
Jim
