Default Silkair B737 order

http://australianaviation.com.au/201...r-for-54-737s/

23 B737-800 and 31 B737MAX-8.

Anyone know is this to replace or augment their A319/A320 fleet?

Cheers
Rowan

They are still taking A320s. Long term plan is a 737 fleet but they will still have the bus in the fleet for another good 10 years

Silkair can always transfer its A320 planes to Tiger Airways when the new B738s arrive.

Good Point. That might have something to do with why Tiger has not announced their fleet intentions beyond 2015.
