Aerolineas Argentinas Reduces Sydney Service April – June 2013

Update at 0720GMT 21FEB13

As per 21FEB13 GDS timetable and inventory display, Aerolineas Argentinas from 08APR13 to 02JUL13 is reducing Buenos Aires – Sydney operation, from 3 to 2 weekly. Wednesdays departure from Buenos Aires, Thursdays from Sydney, is cancelled during this period.

AR1180 EZE0850 – 1340+1SYD 340 15
AR1181 SYD1830 – 1955EZE 340 26

That's a strange one, just a one off. Maybe a special event or high bookings for AKL bound PAX for the to make the stop. I thought the whole reason to go non stop EZE-SYD-EZE was to cut costs to make the route profitable.
