Reading posts over at PPRUNE, I have sifted through the ***** and come up with the following;

-Person worked as a NAV services member
-Was conducting some form of famil on th flight deck as required to her duties
-crew member was approved to wear a QF S/O uniform due to ease of getting through legalities in DXB.
-Apparently this is standard practise through the ME for multiple airlines.
