EBV is just about to land in SYD as QF6010 ex HKG. Almost a 2 month holiday.

Why would they have re-painted EBN given it was already in the new livery?? EBQ, EBR, EBS & EBV are all still in the old livery surely they would have been higher priorities for a repaint

They may not have repainted the whole aircraft, just the QANTAS and One World titles on EBN. They used to have two One World titled aircraft up to when B744 OEF was retired in 2020. They are now back to that number. The other thought is that as EBV is not in the new livery it will shortly be repainted into the full QF livery.

It is just a decal. There’s parts of the original livery sticking out from underneath…

Thanks guys for clarifying! Seemed odd given there are other aircraft that need repainting given they have the old livery still
