I thought there might have been a slight chance of a flypast at the RAAF airshow at Amberley on Sunday...doesn't look like it though according to the flight times.

off topic but,
would you think that QF will send it to the Avalon Air Show?
it would be nice if they did.
last air show they had a 744 and a 738.. so i guess we will have to wait and see.

For the departure today, a group of people too advantage of Bernie P's idea and got on the top of the 'hop on hop off' bus.

Was a bit jealous, the Focus was on its tippy toes to see over the fence from the mound as it stood!

From what I can tell, it is due for a 1300 departure off Bay 5 at the Freight Apron. It won't be back until after dark and will park on Bay 9.

As always, subject to change and I am happy to be corrected.

Hey Nige.

I looked on sydney flight information and it has QF 6003 to melbourne at 08:00, QF 6192 from melbourne at 11:15 and QF 6613 to melbourne at 1:00. So I don't know what are A380's and what are not.
