According to FlightAware the Jetstar 787s not currently operating with their last flights are:

VKA - flew MEL - SIN 23/8/22. This or VKB maybe the aircraft that suffered the bird strike.
VKB - flew BKK - MEL 31/8/22. This or VKA maybe the aircraft that struck debris on the runway.
VKJ - flew MEL - PUS 24/8/22. Presumably for planned maintenance.
VKL - flew OOL - SYD 17/6/22. After lightening strike.
An update of my post of 7/9/22 on the unserviceability of Jetstar's B788s after two weeks:

VKA - is still in SIN and has not flown since 23/8/22;
VKB - is still in MEL and has not flown since 31/8/22;
VKJ - returned from PUS to CNS after two weeks on 8/9/22 and is back in service;
VKK - replaced VKJ in PUS on 12/9/22, possibly for repainting into the updated JQ livery with the orange tail as VKJ was there for two weeks which is about the right timeframe. Also, QANTAS was going to have their last three A380s repainted into the current livery in PUS before COVID hit. Has anyone photographed VKJ since it returned to service?
VKL - is still in SYD and has not flown since 17/6/22.

So, there are still four Jetstar B788s out of service with passenger angst still raging in the media.

Given we are about to hit school holiday season, have VA or any other carrier ramped up their operations into Bali?

I notice the complete lack of silence from any competitor about the JQ /QF issues - probably the best approach from them financially....

Indonesia is a capacity constrained market and if you look at the IASC website you'll see that both Qantas Group and VA have applied for additional capacity over and above the current limit.

An update of my post of 15/9/22 on the unserviceability of Jetstar's B788 fleet:

VKA ferried back from SIN yesterday 22/9/22 and immediately returned to service operating JQ7 to SIN and JQ8 which is currently enroute to MEL.

VKB, VKK and VKL have not returned to service as yet.

Jetstar B788 VH-VKK is due to depart PUS shortly to ferry back to MEL as JQ8992, following maintenance. No sign of a replacement at this stage.
