Could it have been a pre entry to service test flight since it circled and landed returned to MEL?

Following its return to MEL last Monday and a test flight yesterday, XF6 operated QF7350/7305 MEL-BNE-MEL overnight. Does this make QF7350 MEL-BNE its official service entry flight departing MEL on 11/7/24 and arriving BNE on 12/7/24?

As long as it a revenue service and not a positioning flight. |

EFR currently positioning to ASP for temporary storage.
Being flown by an SXI crew as QF reportedly have no pilots with valid 767 licenses. |

You may find that the pilots who were flying VH-EFR were contractors whose contract finished when the a/c finished. The last time it was flown with a QF flight number 20/06/24 with a test flight over Sydney (May of been a formal hand-over to the lease-holder, before the EOFY) Last edited by Greg Hyde; 8th August 2024 at 12:58 PM.
