Only the second of the 777s to be rehomed, although the former VOZ has been returned by Azur Air |

Not surprising given the cargo door debacle

I think more it was repossessed (luckily) by the lessor as Azur is Russian.

On the topic of VA's former 777s, VPE has positioned from VCV to BGR (although I cannot find this flight, so it may not yet have happened)

There are rumours up here that the VA triples at Wellcamp may be departing soon?

I should go for a drive and check them out, am interested to know if they are still all sealed up. |

I've been out at wellcamp for the last 6 months and the 777's have been moved around, both VPD and VPH have been uncovered, engine changes and APU runs have been conducted, hydraulic testing completed too. No concrete time of their departures but looking like they'll be leaving soon though.

VoZ has the large door, I was referring to the lack of interest in the birds

The VA 777's left in Oz should be flown out by the years end. That was the plan anyway.
The A332 in Perth will have the landing gear replaced in the near future and it too will be flown out. |
