I've gotta say, I flew on the new JQ A321neo recently. From a customer comfort perspective, what an absolute disappointment. The A321 is the widest single isle plane out there, yet the seats were absolutely tiny. I don't know if Jetstar is trying to save on weight, but the overall comfort could have been so much better. To think they use these aircraft on overnight flights from Bali, without even a proper headrest, is crazy. I'll be avoiding it at all costs.

don't forget that each airline will choose it's own seat config and layout ,
I flew on Austrian Airlines A321 a few years ago on a flight from Vienna to London , one of the best flights on a int Europe route of 2-3 hours I ever had, It depends on the airline , though I think if airlines want to use these on longer flights ie , Sydney > Bali , or to Japan from AUS as Jetstar is wanting to do , then they will need to focus on passenger comfort |
