Hi Gerard,

Looks like I was a day early, I was out there yesterday hoping to catch the "Sharkmouth" C-130 take off, and I also missed the C-17 coming in, I was at the other end of the Runway when it did.

There wasn't much movement out there, and these two were probably my best for the day.

Cheers,
Jeff.

Hi Jeff, yeah i was pretty annoyed i couldn't get out there to see the C-130 leave. Fat chance i'll ever see that one again. Well you could try your luck tomorrow for the C-17. Great photos though, bit of a bonus considering with the Black Hawk, certainly not all that regular!

Cheers

Thanks Gerard,

I'd love to catch the C-17, but can't get the time off work!

Another day maybe.

Jeff.

Considering some of the recent events I would be extra careful taking pics around bases at the moment. They've pinged some photographers from the Telegraph (although they were inside the base perimeter). Wouldn't be too much of a stretch to go looking for people outside the perimeter.

Have to agree there too. Bit of common sense should be used but i still maintain so long as your not breaking the laws with that article that was posted before then i think you should be ok. Mind you im not going to argue with them! And every time i'm there i see minimum 3 patrols drive past both military police/fire/private security company vehicles. So clearly even before security wasn't an issue for richmond but prepare for an increase im sure!

And, we're back to the C-17 this week after last weeks C-5 to bring a bit of variety.
05-5139 from March AFB again in this week.
