Hi Greg, I just had a look at FAA, the 4 190's which you indicated might be scrapped at SJO are still registered to TXPX Aircraft Solutions Inc Trustee in North Salt Lake. So, I presume they will not be deregistered till they are fully scrapped???

Yes, the same of the ones on the VH-Reg.
It is something to do with part (component) traceability. Someone with an engineering background can better explain. If I'm right (could be wrong) the next one coming our way should be from: N198JB, N203JB, N228JB Also, from the last announcement 6 are going to Europe to be parted-out, with the engines being returned to QQ. The aircraft remains registered until all parts have been placed into the stores system under removal of a serviceable component. There are ways around the regs.
