VH-TQM and VH-SBI are parked just to the North of the GA apron at BNE side by side.

Cheers.

VH-TQD is scheduled to ferry TSV-CNS today as QF6670

That'll make 4 aircraft painted.

Not really 2015 as this change takes effect from 8 March 2016, but additional HBA B717 flying has been announced.

http://www.qantasnewsroom.com.au/med...or-qantaslink/

SYD moves up from daily to 13x weekly, MEL from 4x daily to 33x weekly. I've seen a post on another forum indicating JQ will reduce MEL-HBA vv. by one daily service. TBH, I was expecting something different (ie BNE) rather than literally more of the same, but good on them!

This, and of course the MCY service, makes use of the 2x B717 coming from Blue1 in Finland.

Not unusual as The Q300 pilots for NZ will be employed by JQNZ or JQNZ regional.

When it was announced Qantas mentioned the aircraft would be operated by Qantaslink, and I assumed that included the crews, which is why I thought it unusual.

That leaves one to be painted by my count.

Or will there will there be a spare as well ?

Wasn't Eastern/QLink crews originally planned to operate these services ?

They will be using Eastern's check and training approval (CAR217) and AOC to operate the Q300's. That is why the aircarft will remain on the Australian register.

The crews will be employed by JQNZ however, this has always been the case.
