Q400 QOB has returned to service after storage. It was the last Dash 8 to come out of storage.

So the A380 is the only type with more than a couple stored. I sure didn't expect things to bounce back as quickly as they have.

After Saturday's Qantas 789 Sydney / Johannesburg QF63/QF64 rotation was initially delayed for 25+ hours, there was a further disruption to the return QF64 leg, with a diversion to Durban shortly after take off. This being the first visit of a Qantas 787-9 to that airport.
The flight resumed after just over an hour on the ground, arriving in Sydney at 16:15 AEST on 2nd - 28 hours late versus the timetable.
Flightradar24 doesn't seem to have caught up with the situation, while FlightAware having initially lost the plot, seems to be predicting a further occurrence of the diversion on the next two flights ????

VH-ZNE is now airborne ex Durban after also diverting. It looks like a planned stop.

Flightaware are plugged directly into the AFTN and other ATC systems, their data is based on what QF flight ops spits out

Tonight's QF64 flight (VH-ZNG) has also diverted, so can anyone confirm that these ongoing diversions with a relatively short stop over in Durban, are due to low fuel stock in Jo'burg ?
Noticeably the parking point has not been at the International Terminal, so passengers are apparently staying on board - pointing to a refuelling operation.

A quick look at the Notams answers your question, looks to last two weeks.

A380 OQB just touched down in Abu Dhabi for cabin refit. Guessing either OQC or H will be heading home in a few days?

Does anyone know what's happened to EBN? It seems to have been at BNE for a really long time now - is it undergoing heavy maintenance of some form?
