A co-worker of mine advises me that she has a friend who works for Virgin Blue, and they've said there will be blue mood lighting in the cabin.

New uniforms are out today...anyone thats seen then, what are your thoughts?!

I like them personally...they all look quite professional, not sure about the mens vests though....looks as though they are in a wedding bridal party

Purple scarf is ridiculous - is it an optional accessory? I sure hope so!

The red dress, however, is very slick. Reminds me of the 1967 American Airlines uniform.

The mens uniform would not look out of place at a wedding.

I like the uniforms. They're smart and have almost gone back to a time when air travel was a more classy affair than it is today.

It also states that there will be two additional lounges by the end of 2011. Any ideas where these might be? I'd love to see one in HBA to compete with the Qantas Club here.

I read it as Coolangatta and then an additional two lounges. Surely HBA, CNS or LST would have to be the front runners?
