So apparently the A330 refurbs have started...Anyone have the rego???

I thought it was going to be EBV, but it's still in service as we speak. Done some checks and QPA hasn't flown since 03/11 so maybe that'll be the first refreshed bird!

I was under the impression it was going to be a -300 first, so QPA is a fair bet from that standpoint?

Given the QF press release mentioned the new seat is set to debut on the East-West Coast service in early December, my initial thought was a 332 would be refitted first.

EBG was under maintenance in BNE since 26 October and I had expected it to be fit out with the new seats. Alas, it is already back in service so thats not it.

I suspect the next 332 that goes to BNE maintenance would be the first plane to be refitted.

As was mentioned earlier today the work has commenced on the first aircraft. EBD is currently in SIN as part of its transfer back to QF from JQ. All other -200s were flying in service today so, unless it's EBD, it's gotta be a -300. FWIW the -300s do fly domestic services, especially over summer.

QPA is indeed in for a check and a reconfig. It is however a large check and will most likely appear shortly after EBV which is having a smaller check and reconfig.

Presumably EBV is also having a smaller reconfig since the Y class seats are not going to be replaced (and since they already have the 9" seat back screens anyway)?

On a separate note, does anyone know if EBM-V will get an upgraded IFE from the eX2 to the eX3?
